According to The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation as of June 12, 2018 there data shows that 978,767 claims were opened in Florida. It also shows a high percentage of claims that are closed. Remember this data is based on claims the carrier decided where closed and does not show the claims being reopened by Attorney’s and Public Adjuster’s because claims were either underpaid insurance settlements or denied insurance claims.
