Public Insurance Adjuster David Dwyer, opened Experienced Public Adjusters LLC with the desire to educate and help policyholders understand their rights after suffering a devastating property loss. He brings strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for guiding and assisting Florida policyholders through the arduous process of filing, managing and negotiation insurance claims to reach fair settlements and bring commercial and residential owners back to pre-loss condition. David strives for perfection and his financial expertise and exemplary negotiation skills have helped him achieve an outstanding track record of being successful in meeting and exceeding his customer’s expectations.
Prior to opening Experienced Public Adjusters LLC, David gained valuable experience as a Public Adjuster with Tutwiler & Associates who has been in business in Florida since 1984. He began his journey by completing a B.S. in Business Administration and went on to complete an Executive MBA program at the State University of New York at Oswego. He continued his education by completing the Executive Leadership and Coaching Strategies program at Harvard University, “Negotiation Mastery” at Harvard Business University Online, and Senior Executives course at Aeliron Consulting. David entered the professional world as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones followed by Morgan Stanley Dean Witter at the World Trade Center in NYC. This is when he first started in the insurance business in December of 1999 as a NY Licensed Life and/or Accident/Health Agent. He dedicated five years at Ricoh Corporation as a District Sales and Regional District Manager, generating an annual revenue of $15 million dollars. His experience included directing an executive recruiting firm along with being an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Alabama. David’s last venture before entering the Public Adjusting industry was as a Vice President of Sales and Operations for a business that he expanded successfully throughout the Central Florida Region.
David has an innate ability to comprehend the complex and constantly evolving regulatory environment as it relates to policyholders’ rights. His desire to understand the dynamics of how regulations impact real people led David to complete many college and graduate-level classes in Personnel Law, Legal Environment, Collective Bargaining, Business Law, Fundamentals of Estate & Probate Law, Real Estate Transactions and Human Resource Management. This training helped prepare him to review and understand policy language and grasp the issues related to policyholder’s rights.
David has committed himself to the well-being and best interests of insured policyholders. He strongly believes that homeowners and business owners are entitled to the expertise of a true professional who can represent them as their fiduciary agent during their most vulnerable time of need.
